Occupy Peoria

Saturday, November 19th at 10am the Occupy Peoria General Assembly will meet outdoors at the intersection of War Memorial Drive and Sterling Avenue until Noon. After the General Assembly, a Rally will be held at that intersection until 3pm. At 3pm, another General Assembly will be held at that location.
The Rally is planned to be located next to the abandoned Gas Station at that intersection.

Thursday, November 17th at 3pm. Occupy Peoria will assemble on the sidewalk in front of the Federal Courthouse at Main and Monroe Streets in conjunction with the National Day of Action declared by Occupy Wall Street. Bring your signs of support and join us until sunset.

Join us on Saturday for Rallies at Sterling and War Memorial from 10am until Noon. Then at the corner of University and Main St. from 1pm until 3pm.
Our General Assembly will be at the Peoria Public Library Auditorium again at 3pm until 5pm.

Wednesday, October 26th at 4pm, we will meet outside the Federal Building for a Rally ending with a General Assembly on location at 6pm.  The Media Committee encourages you to bring artwork (and flyers if you can produce them) to announce this Rally and Saturday's Rally for distribution on the street and at all public bulletin boards.
 

Agenda for this Assembly will be as follows:

1. pick volunteers for Facilitator, Recorder and Stack List Coordinator
2. read the proposed agenda and add additional items
3. approve the agenda
4. review artwork submitted for flyers and handbills
5. review status of the Media and Promotion Committee
6. Discuss plans for Nov. 11th Veterans Day Parade.
7. Remind  attendees to review list of OWS Declarations and Grievances.   Attendees shall
     identify any objections to any parts contained within those Declarations and bring them to the
    Saturday General Assembly.
8. Review proposal to acquire a Foreclosed House
